자연/창조에 있어서의 혼돈과 질서― 신학, 과학, 철학을 통한 창조의 이해

Abstract

The dualistic understanding of chaos and order based on polarity in nature has underpinned the Western thought, which can be equally applied to Christian theology. The modern scientifical theories, however, disclose that nature is the full of mystery in diversity and complexity. The cosmology of ecstatic naturalism in Western philosophy and Taoism in Eastern philosophy also provide the non-dualistic understanding of nature.The contemplation of creation throughout science, philosophy, and theology alludes to complex nature which is not a simple matter and/or mere chaos against divine order but the field of divine mystery and love.
