최첨단 기술과 AI의 발전으로 인간의 편리성과 삶의 질은 향상되었지만, 인간성 상실과 소통의 부재라는 역기능을 갖게 되었다. 이를 해결하는 방안의 하나로 최근 교육계에서는 소통, 공감, 의사소통을 주요 키워드로 하는 감성 중심의 공동체 역량 교육을 강조하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 초등 저학년의 공감능력 신장을 위한 음악극 만들기 통합예술 수업 설계방안을 제시하였다. 이를 위한 연구 내용과 방법은 첫째, 교육적 관점에서의 공감능력의 중요성과 구성요소를 알아보고, 통합예술 수업에서의 연관성을 살펴보았다. 둘째, 공감능력 신장을 위한 음악극 만들기 수업의 방향과 목표를 정하고, 통합예술형 음악극 수업의 학습 단계를 설정하였다. 셋째, 음악극 활동 주제에 따라 공감 영역을 설정하고, 그에 따른 차시별 목표와 학습활동 내용을 구성하였다. 넷째, 설계한 수업은 초등 저학년 학생들에게 직접 실행하여 그 효과를 분석하였다.
Abstract
This study proposes an integrated arts class design to enhance empathy skills among lower-grade elementary school students. To this end, the following study content and methods are presented: First, this study examines the importance and components of empathy skills from an educational perspective as well their the relevance in the context of integrated arts classes. Second, this study establishes the direction and objectives of musical drama classes to enhance empathy skills as well as the learning stages of integrated arts musical play classes. Third, this study determines empathy-related areas based on the theme of musical play activity and presents objectives and learning activities for each class unit. Fourth, the designed class contents were implemented with lower elementary students, and their effects analyzed.
