뮤지엄의 변화와 독일지역 뮤지엄의 전시공간 특성

뮤지엄은 도시의 문화시설로서 사회적 역할을 해오고 있고 도시의 재생의 성과를 가져올 수 있다. 본 연구는 기초 연구로서 지역 뮤지엄의 도시에 공공 건축물로서 특성과 그 역할을 다음과 같이 분류 하였다. 1) 증축과 컨버전의 확장, 2) 공공성과 개별적인 역할 및 도시재생, 3) 한 작가를 위한 미술관의 건립, 4) 도시의 상징적 역할로 구분된다. 이로써 박물관이 그룹화로 독일의 3곳의 도시의 지역을 선정하였다. 프랑크푸르트의 뮤지엄 거리, 베를린의 박물관 섬, 뮌헨의 피나코텍 지역을 사례로 그 뮤지엄의 역할과 조형성을 알아보았다. 뮤지엄 공간의 특성은 크게 ‘시선’, ‘동선’ 두 가지로 나누는데 세부적으로는 형태성(정형, 이형), 영역성(획일, 다양과 복합성), 가시성(단순, 복잡), 개방성(개방, 폐쇄)과 방향성, 연결성, 연속성 분류하였다. 결론으로 지역미술관은 각각의 다양한 전시 형태구성을 하고 있고 도시의 활력을 미치는 가장 효율적인 건축물로서 그룹을 이루어 도시의 다양성을 제공하며 도시의 변화와 재생의 기능을 하고 있다.
Abstract
Museum has been functioning as a cultural facility that brings results in the regeneration of the city. This research has classified the local museums by its characteristics and functions: 1) Extension and expansion of conversion 2) Publicity and individual roles and Urban Regeneration 3) The fact that it was constructed for one specific artist 4) Symbolic function for the city Therefore, considering elements of Germany’s inner city streets as a museum in Frankfurt, Berlin’s Museum Island, and Munich’s Pinakothek by Region, the formative role of the museum was evaluated. The characteristics of the space of a museum can be split largely into two categories: vision and circulation. More specifically, they can be divided into a form of Plan, Boundary, visibility, openness, directionality, connectivity, and continuity. In conclusion, the most efficient buildings that contribute to the vitality of the city are local art galleries and museums, so the museums has features that provide diversity in groups of cities and, urban change and regeneration.
