초등 예비교사를 위한 국어과 수업 컨설팅 적용 연구

본고는 초등 예비교사의 국어과 수업 컨설팅 모형을 구안하고 이를 적용한 사례를 제시하여교사 양성 기관의 교생 실습 운용에 시사점을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 그동안 교사의 학습에 대한 접근 방식은 인지주의적 접근, 사회문화적인 접근 방법에 의하여 실행되어 왔다. 인지주의적접근은 예비교사에게 교과와 관련된 지식을 풍부하게 제공하여 줄수록 교사의 전이력 역시 높을것이라고 가정하고 있다. 사회 문화적인 접근은 경력교사가 가진 교실 현장 실제에서 터득한 지식(Knowldege-in-practice)이 중요하며 이를 배우는 것이 교사 전문성 신장에 강력한 효력을 발휘할 것이라는 가정을 담고 있다. 그러나 이러한 두 가지 접근 방식은 예비교사와 전문가 간의 불균형적 권력 관계를 조성하여 예비교사가 연구자들의 지식이나 교사의 암묵지를 답습하려는 태도를 취하게 한다. 따라서 본고에서는 예비교사를 교사로서 인정하고 현재 그들이 가진 교사로서의 자질과 신념, 교과 교육에 대한 지식을 바탕으로 문제의식을 찾아 탐구해 가는 접근 방식이필요함을 제안하였다. 이러한 탐구적 교사 학습 방식을 국어과 교수-학습 컨설팅에 적용하여 탐구중심 국어과 교수-학습 컨설팅 모형을 구안하였다. 탐구중심 국어과 교수-학습 컨설팅 모형의 운용 단계는 탐구공동체 구성, 탐구주제 수립, 자료수집 단계, 주제 탐색 단계, 반성적 실행단계, 평가 단계의 6단계를 거친다. 특히 컨설팅을 우한탐구공동체를 구성하고 이를 통하여 예비 교사가 교수실제에서 터득한 지식을 생성할 수 있도록도와준다. 탐구 중심 국어과 수업 컨설팅 모형을 예비교사 교생 실습과정에 적용하여 보고 그 사례를 제시하였다. 예비교사의 교생 일지를 통하여 탐구공동체 구성을 통한 컨설팅 과정이 예비교사의 수업에 대한 자신감을 키워 주었고, 국어과 교수-학습 전문성 및 교수-학습 운용에 관여하는 다양한 요소에 대하여 인지하게 되었음을 확인하였다.
Abstract
Educational reform movements around the world are setting ambitious goals for student learning. Many factors contribute to achieving these goals. However, the changes in classroom practices demanded by the reform visions ultimately rely on teachers. Changes of this magnitude require a great deal of learning on the part of teachers. Therefore teachers have more opportunities to participate in various forms of learning in multiple contexts. This article was to understand pre-service elementary school teachers learning systematically and comprehensively. In order to obtain this aim, this study explored three questions which can be the basis of understanding teacher learning： how teachers learn, which model good enough to pre-service elementary school teachers are and how to practice the model. I called the model "Teacher Training Approach based on Inquiry Community"In this study, I made a inquiry community to practice the model. The inquiry community consist of a student-teacher, a supervisor-teacher, a researcher and me. We set the goal according to student-teacher's opinion. She wanted to learn how to deal with advertisement to 6th grade students. We researched some resources related with advertisement education and media education. Therefore we arrived at a conclusion that advertisement is effective at teaching product persuading ideas and texts. After all, we directed a units to add times to teach traits of advertisements. Then we help students product persuadable ideas and texts. The inquiry community was efficient method of training a student-teacher. According to some reponses of her, she has learned some practical knowledge and local knowledge of instructional field. The result of this study could contribute to frame and theorize pre-service teacher learning systematically for Korean language arts instruction.
