초등학생의 환경소양 함양을 위한 교과연계 공익광고활용 환경교육 프로그램 개발

Abstract

This study was conducted so as to develop subjects-related environmental education program using public advertisement which can be applied to practical arts, science, society subjects in the sixth grade of elementary school and provide implications of environmental education. Through the analysis on 2007 revised curriculum of subjects including practice, science and society in the sixth grade of elementary school, studying contents and units which are reflected by environmental education were confirmed. In addition, based on it, Practice Arts, Science and Society subject related environmental education using public advertisement was developed and total 20 times of classes were fulfilled by using classes of the subjects for 12 weeks. To analyze the effects of the program developed by this research on students' environmental literacy, environmental literacy measuring questionnaire was reorganized and used for the standard of the sixth grade. The results obtained by this research are as follows. The first, elementary subjects related environmental education using public advertisement of 20 times was developed. Subjects on environmental education are 12 things such as energy conservation, global warming, the management of living resource, protection of animals, and so on. After selecting various images and printed public materials, it was possible to suggest learning materials. The second, the application of environmental education program using public advertisement in connection with the subject had a positive effect on improving environment knowledge. When before and after test scores of experimental group were compared, after test scores were statistical significantly higher than before test scores. When experiment and comparative group were compared, scores of experiment group showed statistical significant higher scores. If synthesizing the results of this research, subjects-related environmental education using public advertisement made a positive effect on elementary school students' cultivation of environmental literacy. This research could be applied to the fulfillment of environmental education in classes of practice arts, science and society.
