교육과정 연구의 동향: 2010년 이후의 추이에 관한 언어 네트워크 분석

본 연구는 2010년부터 2019년까지 영미의 Curr. Inquiry(CI)와 J. of Curr. Studies(CS) 및 우리 나라의 「교육과정 연구」(CK)에 게재된 논문의 초록을 전반기와 후반기로 양분하여 아이겐벡터 중심성 네트워크 분석으로 비교하면서 교육과정 연구의 최근 동향을 추정하는 일에 목적을 두고 있다. 여기에 서 얻은 교육과정 연구의 주요 동향은 다음과 같이 정리될 수 있다. 첫째, CI의 초록을 대변하는 전·후 반기의 네트워크는 전반기에 수행된 교육과정 연구의 동향과 후반기에 수행된 그것의 차이를 진보적 성향에 경도된 이론적 관심사의 희석과 실제적 관심사를 향한 선회로 요약하고 있다. 둘째, CS의 그것 을 대변하는 2개의 네트워크는 양자의 차이를 진보적인 성향과 이론적 성향의 이론적 관심사를 부분 적으로 유지하는 가운데 실제적 관심사의 심화로 정리하고 있다. 그리고 CK의 그것은 시기를 막론하 고 보수적인 성향의 이론적 관심사를 외면하지 않는 가운데 CS가 심화시킨 실제적 관심사를 가장 다 채롭게 추구하고 있다는 식견으로 압축하고 있다. 그래서 2010년대에 이루어진 교육과정 연구의 동향 은 진보적인 성향이 점차 축소되고 보수적인 성향이 부분적으로 유지되는 가운데 실제적 관심사가 번 성해 나가는 모습으로 그려질 수 있다. 특히, 2010년대에 이루어진 우리나라의 교육과정 연구는 교육 과정에 대한 국가의 영향력과 거기에서 파생되는 현상으로 말미암아 그러한 경향을 더욱 두드러지게 보여주고 있다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to estimate the trends in curriculum research in the process of comparing the Eigenvector Centrality Networks on the abstracts of Curr. Inquiry(CI), J. of Curr. Studies(CS) and Curr. Studies of Korea(CK) published from 2010 to 2019. The conclusions obtained here may be summarized as follows: First, according to the networks, which represents the abstracts of CI, the differences between the trends in curriculum studies conducted in the first half and those conducted in the second can be summed up as a the dilution of critical colors and political atmosphere and shift to organization and implementation of curriculum. Second, according to the networks representing CS, the differences can be summed up by the expansion of practical concerns in curriculum studies maintaining conservative and progressive interests as theoretical concerns. And according to the networks of CK, the trends can be summed up as the height of such practical concerns in line with CS. Thus, the trends of curriculum research in the 2010s can be illustrated by the flourishing of practical concerns amid the gradual reduction of progressive tendencies and the partial maintenance of theoretical concerns. In particular, such a trends of CK in the 2010s can be interpreted as reflecting the government influence on the curriculum and the responses of scholars who are aligned with it.
