AI 시대의 미래 만들기(Creating Future)를 위한서사교육의 방향

Abstract

This study aims to explore the direction of narrative education in preparation for the AI era,focusing on the question consciousness of'What kind of future should learners create in the AI era?'Narrative is a kind of simulator that can explore the direction to a utopian future in the AI era. Learners can narratively simulate the future of the AI era by designing characters, events, and virtualtime and space through fiction. In this way, learners, the future generation, can only reflect on theirlives when they make it in the AI era. Therefore, efforts are needed to explore the possibilities ofnarrative education in terms of creating the future of the AI era. First, we looked at the direction of education in the AI era. He argued that education in the AIera should go toward reinforcing imagination about the future, not facts, knowledge, or technicalliteracy. From this point of view, the significance of narrative education as a means of making thefuture was discussed. Narrative is a life tool that simulates the future life of the AI era in variousways while securing the continuity of life. Learners can strategically plan to create a better future inthe AI era through narrative simulations. In this process, it is possible to find ways to achieve humangrowth that fits in the AI era. Finally, we proposed the direction of narrative education to create the future in the AI era. Specifically, there are'reflection of future dilemma situations through moral imagination','seekingco-evolution of AI and humanity through relational imagination', and'exploration of excellence in lifethrough narrative imagination'. In Korean society, signs that signal the advent of the AI era are already being spotted. What isclear is that we cannot fully predict the social changes and disruptions that AI technology willtrigger. This is why there is an urgent need for educational discussions in preparation for theupcoming AI era. This study can find its significance in that it attempts an educational approach tocreating the future of the AI era, moving away from AI education focused on reinforcing learners'learning capabilities and technical literacy.
