Abstract
The heart of Myeonam(勉菴) is formed with the most deeply trusted values. The virtue of Sunbi can be learned by learning and practicing Confucius's scholarship, and I think that this scholarship is a channel that can match the mind of Confucius. In his poetry, which lived with an honest heart, the right righteousness can be found. Myeonam experienced that it was a difficult world to find the righteousness of Sunbi, and expressed his feelings in the rhyme-borrowing poem. His sincerity in respecting the scholar, who was a bureaucrat who took good care of the people, is contained in the poem. Myeonam witnessed negative things happening in this world and pursued a clean mind on his own. The clear mind proves that his discipline is clear and pure. Myeonam not only expressed the nature of the scenic spot, but also expressed a cleanliness. He admired the academic spirit of Toegye(退溪), and because he was not greedy, he produced works with the heart of a pure poet. The pure heart of a pure poet can harmonize with great nature. Myeonam expressed the grace of the king, and as an old man, he recalled that he had been loyal to the country for the rest of his life. He thought and respected the king, the teacher and the parents the same. He fulfilled the righteousness of man, and he completed the life of an honest scholar. Myeonam knew that life was a cross between joy and sorrow, so he was not in an extreme situation. He hoped that the loyal hearts of the heroes who gave their lives in the war would be preserved forever. What mattered to him was deep patriotism and sincerity.
