본 연구는 기존에 개발된 초등학생용 스포츠 사회성 검사지가 학생들의 성별과 학년에 상관없이 동일하게활용되어질 수 있는지 측정모형분석과 다집단 요인분석을 통해 알아보고, 잠재평균분석을 통해 성별과 학년에따른 잠재평균의 차이를 비교, 검증하는데 그 목적을 두었다. 연구대상은 초등학교 3~6학년, 총 651명(남: 325명, 여: 326명)으로 하고, 자료수집은 설문지를 활용하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS20.0과 AMOS 18.0 프로그램을이용하여 기술통계, 탐색적 요인분석, 신뢰도 분석, 상관분석, 확인적 요인분석, 다집단 요인분석을 통해 처리되었으며, 구체적으로는 초등학생용 스포츠 사회성척도의 다집단(multi-group) 요인분석을 통한 형태 동일성, 측정동일성, 절편 동일성을 검증하여 성별(남/여)과 학년(3~4학년/5~6학년)에 따라 이 척도가 공통적으로 사용될수 있는지 확인하고, 잠재평균분석을 통하여 스포츠 사회성의 각 하위요인에 대한 성별과 학년에 따른 집단간 잠재평균의 차이를 탐색하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 확인적 요인분석에 의해 구인타당도가 검증되었고, 하위요인들의AVE 값과 상관계수를 이용하여 개념신뢰도 및 변별타당도가 검증되었다. 둘째, 다집단 요인분석 결과 측정모형은형태동일성, 측정동일성, 절편동일성이 검증되어 스포츠 사회성 척도가 학생들의 성별과 학년에 관계없이 동일하게적용될 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 스포츠 사회성을 성별과 학년에 따라 잠재평균 분석을 실시한 결과성별에서는 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았지만, 학년에서는 고학년(5~6학년)이 중학년(3~4학년)보다 사교성이더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 스포츠 사회성 척도가 초등학생들의 사회성을 측정하는데 적합한도구임을 시사한다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analyze the factorial invariance and the latent means of the sports sociability scale for elementary school students. The participants were 651 elementary school students(325 males, 326 females). Data were collected by using a survey. Collected data were analyzed by using statistics programs. The data were analyzed by using SPSS 20.0 for descriptive statistics, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, and correlation analysis, and by using AMOS 17.0 for confirmatory factor analysis and multi-group factor analysis. The results of this study are as follows. First, the sports sociability scale was proven to be valid. The construct validity of this scale was verified by confirmatory factor analysis. The discrimination validity was verified by comparing average variance extracted(AVE) and the square of correlation between the sub‐factors. Second, the results of multi-group factor analysis indicated that the four-factor measurement models were invariant across gender and grade. Third, the results of latent mean analysis indicated that all sub-factor of sports sociability were no differences across gender. But the high grade students(5~6 grade) showed a higher mean than middle grade students(3~4 grade) on the sociality factor. Findings suggest that this scale is a valid and reliable inventory for measuring the sports sociability for elementary school students.
