‘영아보육프로그램’과 ‘누리과정 교사용 지도서’에 제시된 새 노래 부르기 활동 분석
An Analysis of New Song Activities in ‘Infant Care Program’ and ‘Teachers’ Guide Books for Nuri Curriculum’

본 연구는 ‘영아보육프로그램’과 ‘누리과정 교사용 지도서’의 새 노래 부르기 활동에 제시된 음악적 개념 및 태도, 노래의 난이도, 교수·학습방법 및 활동자료의 연령별 특성을 살펴보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 132개의 새 노래 부르기 활동으로 음악적 개념 및 태도, 교수·학습방법, 활동자료 분석은 선행연구를 기초로 분석틀을 제작하여 사용하였으며, 노래의 난이도는 Kim(2010)의 ‘유아노래 난이도지수’를 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 음악적 개념은 새 노래 부르기 활동의목표·평가에 진술되지 않은 경우가 가장 많았고, 활동의 내용에는 멜로디 개념이 가장 많이 나타났다. 새 노래 부르기 활동의 목표와 평가에 제시된 음악적 태도는 모두 즐거운 마음으로 참여하기가 가장 많이 나타나 목표와 평가가 서로 일치하는경향을 보였다. 둘째, 노래의 전체 난이도는 연령이 높을수록 난이도도 높아지는 경향을 보였으나, 일부 하위 난이도의 경우, 4세보다 5세 대상 곡의 난이도가 낮은 경우가 있었으며, 0-2세는 I난이도의 노래가 전혀 제시되지 않아, 어린 연령에게적합한 노래가 더 많이 제시될 필요가 있다. 셋째, 교수·학습방법에 따라서는 연령이 높을수록 단계가 더 많아지고 복잡해지는 경향을 보였으나, 교사의 목소리보다 음원으로 노래를 들려주는 경우가 많았다. 구체물 활동 자료는 그림자료가 가장많이 제시되었고 미디어 자료로는 음원이 가장 많았으나 제시된 자료가 연령에 적합하지 않은 경우도 있었다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the characteristics of new song activities presented in the ‘Infant Care program’ based on the National Standard Childcare Curriculum and ‘Teachers' Guide Books for the Nuri Curriculum'. One hundred thirty-two new song activities were analyzed in terms of musical concepts, attitudes, instructional learning methods, and activity materials employing a framework developed based on previous studies. Difficulty of songs were analyzed using the ‘Degree of Difficulty Index for Children's Songs’ developed by Kim (2010). The results of this study are as follows: First, although musical concepts were not clearly stated neither in learning objectives nor in evaluations, musical activities related to melody concepts were frequently occurred, which suggest inconsistency in the objectives, activities and evaluation of content. However, we found the objectives, activities and evaluation process was consistent in the area of learning new songs. Second, the level of songs tended to get higher by the age of children with few exceptions of some casese where the songs taught in age 5 was easier to learn compared to that of the songs taught in age 4. Moreover, there were rarely any songs that are age appropriate for children under two, which highlight the importance of including more songs for toddlers and infants. Third, although there was a tendency that shows the older children get, the more complex the instructional strategies was. For teaching materials, recorded songs and visual aids such as pictures seemed to be one of the most frequently used.Though, we occasionally found that some of the teaching materials were not age appropriate. Implications for practice was discussed.
