Abstract
It seems reasonable to prospect that keeping pace with the technological innovations that are so utterly transforming the web will bring to a new ODR paradigm. The individual people, communities, organizations, and institutions that have to solve with disputes and conflics will use the web to manage and get them resolved in a more effective, efficient, and inexpensive way. This will bring to a new vision on how disputes may be managed and resolved in the present information society. This is a new vision that transforms the field of ODR. Web 2.0 technologies offer new forms to interact with the web that are most relevant to ODR. The reason is that some of web 2.0 technology's critical features -openness, standardization, free access, crowdsourcing effects, connectedness etc.- make it possible to enrich ODR services in a wider perspective. Therefore online mediation model based web 2.0 needs to attempt to develop from these innovations so as to provide an easy-to-use web platform for both mediation domain experts and end-users.
