신규 체육교사들의 눈으로 바라본 체육교육과 전공실기 수업의 방향 모색 연구

이 연구에서는 신규 체육교사들의 경험을 바탕으로 체육교육과 전공실기수업에서의 쟁점들을 고찰해보고 체육교육과의 전공실기 수업이 나아가야할 방향성에대해 알아보는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구자는 2017 - 2018년 신규 체육교사들 중 최근2년 이내 대학교 체육교육과 교육과정에 참여한 경험이 있는 교사로, 수도권과 중부권, 남부권에 소재하고 있는 체육교육과 각 5개 학교를 졸업한 5명의 연구 참여자를 편의추출법을 활용하여 선정하였다. 연구 참여자가 졸업한 5개 대학 체육교육과 전공실기수업의 교육과정 내용과 강의계획서, 연구 참여자들의 심층 면담과 집단 면담 등의내용을 통해 자료를 수집하고 범주별로 각 주제와 내용을 구성하는 귀납적 범주 분석을실시하여 결과를 도출하였다. 이를 통해 얻어진 체육교육과 전공실기 수업의 방향성은첫째, 임용고시 실기 평가 위주의 수업과 학교 현장을 위한 실기 수업의 딜레마 속에서각 요소들을 상호보완 할 수 있는 수업의 내용과 방향성을 잡아 실천해야 할 필요성이제기되었다. 둘째, 실기 위주의 수업에서 벗어나 학생들을 가르치는 교수법, 학습자가직접 수행평가를 실시해보는 경험 등 이론과 실기, 수행평가가 융합되는 실기 수업이진행될 수 있도록 교수자가 노력해야 할 필요성이 있다. 셋째, 학교 현장에서의 다양한종목과 영역의 가르침에 대한 필요성과 어려움을 토대로 현실에 맞는 실기 수업 종목과영역에 대한 고민이 필요하였다. 넷째, 전공실기를 담당하는 교수자들의 역할이 중요해짐에 따라 실제 교육현장에서 필요한 역량들을 향상시킬 수 있는 실천적 교수역량의확보를 위한 전문성 함양이 무엇보다 중요해졌다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to find the main issues in physical education and major practice class on the basis of new physical education teachers' experiences and the directions of physical education and major practice class. The study subjects were five new physical education teachers who participated in physical education course of physical education department in university in 2017 and 2018, and graduated from the department of physical education in five universities located in the metropolitan areas, central areas, and souther areas. They were selected with convenient sampling. Data were collected with the uses of curriculum contents and lecture schedules for practice class at department of physical education in the universities in each city and province, in-depth interview and group interview with study participants. Based on the data, inductive category analysis for structuring each theme and content by category was conducted to draw results. Through the analysis, the directions of physical education and major practice class were drawn as follows: First, it is necessary to prepare class contents to make complementation in the dilemma of the class for the practice assessment of teacher certification, and the practice class for school. Secondly, it is necessary to make teachers' efforts, such as teaching method (theory), the experience of direct performance evaluation by learners (practice), and practice class with performance evaluation. Thirdly, it is necessary to concern about practice class types and areas in consideration of the necessity and difficulty of teaching about various types and areas in school. Fourthly, given the importance of the roles of teachers in charge of major practice, it is very important to obtain professionalism for securing practical teaching competency to improve the abilities required in actual education sites.
