The language processing of anaphors in the Centering Theory(CT) seems to have been accomplished in terms of nominal anaphors. Therefore, this paper focuses mainly on the processing the sentential anaphors in CT with the comparative and distinctive procedures between nominal and sentential anaphors, based on the integrated pragmatic and cognitive approach, the Givenness Hierarchy. In oder to combine the pragmatic explanation with the explicit algorithm, we shall use the distinctive properties between discourse anaphors it and that because they are used to refer to the nominal and sentential antecedent. Although we could consolidate it and that into the Givenness Hierarchy, we could find the problem in processing sentential anaphors within CT and could solve it with some critical views on conditions and reconsidered condition.
