This paper aims to study the grammatical meanings of connective ending -geoniwa. Subsequently, to study the grammatical property of [final endings + keoniwa]. The study is described in the text on the basis of Middle Korean. In chapter 2, I examined the grammatical meanings of -geoniwa. In Middle Korean, -geoniwa is used to connect the concessive sentence, the contrastive sentence, cause sentence. In chapter 3, I studied the grammatical property of [final endings + keoniwa]. The keoniwa is diveded into [quotation verb ha- + connective ending -geoniwa]. In other words, keoniwa construction is to combine quotation verb ha- with connective ending -geoniwa. However, there is a connective adverb keoniwa. The usage of connective adverb keoniwa is similar to the usage of adverb geureona. Hence I proposed to the stages of lexicalization of keoniwa.
