The goal of this paper is to check the different meaning and function of multiple ‘이/가’ constructions in ‘맞다’ collocation. The ‘맞다’ collocation may demand two ‘이/가’ phrases. These double ‘이/가’ phrases can be interpreted in two ways. Topic and Subject construct two ‘이/가’ phrases or subject and complement construct two ‘이/가’ phrases. The topic is the result of topicalization of ‘의’ phrase. This topicalization is the typical method of formation of ‘이/가’ phrase. The complement is the result of restructuring in ‘맞다’ collocation. The restructured construction of complement-verb orders new subject, so there are two ‘이/가’ phrases.
