This study is intended to investigate the process in which the inflectional form of verb is lexicalized to a conjunctive adverb from the cases of ‘geureoja’, which is often used for conjunctive adverbial. The word ‘georeoja’ can be acknowledged as one word depending on opinions, but in many cases, it is processed as inflectional form of verb. In this study, this process is considered as a phenomenon that ‘georeoja’, the inflected form of verb, is in the process of lexicalization to a connective adverb. Therefore, this study confirms ‘georeoja’ has the usage of conjunctive adverb, and observes the aspect of change in meaning occurring in the lexicalization process. Thus, this study aims to comprehend a side of lexicalization process of an inflected form of verb.
