次韻詩의 상호텍스트적 성격 — 尹善道의 시를 대상으로 —

‘상호텍스트성’이란 어느 한 텍스트가 통시적·공시적으로 다른 텍스트와 맺고 있는 상호관계를 가리키며, ‘상호텍스트’는 어떤 텍스트 안에 잠복되어 있는 텍스트들을 가리킨다. 이 글은 한시에서 볼 수 있는 다양한형태의 상호텍스트적 관계 중 차운시에 논의를 집중하여, 전 작품 중 특별히 차운시가 차지하는 비중이 큰 윤선도의 시를 예로 들어 그 구체적 양상을 살펴 보는 데 목적을 둔다. 남의 시에 화답하여 같은 운을 사용하여시를 짓는 것을 ‘和韻’이라 하는데 次韻은 原詩와 동일한 韻을 동일한 순서대로 사용하는 방법을 가리킨다. 차운을 하면 원시의 운과 형식뿐만 아니라 주제까지도 수용하는 예가 많다. 따라서 차운은 한자문화권에서 볼수 있는 독특한 상호텍스트적 양상이라 할 수 있다. 윤선도 차운시의 상호텍스트적 면모를 살피기 위해서는 原詩 작자가 어떤 인물인가에 따라 동시대 인물의시에 차운하는 경우, 古人의 시에 차운하는 경우, 자기 자신의 시에 차운하는 경우 세 유형으로 나누어 보는것이 효과적이다. 왜냐면 그 대상에 따라 텍스트에서 두드러지는 언어적 기능, 문체와 어조 등 차운시의 텍스트적 특성이 달라지기 때문이다. 야콥슨의 의사전달 모델에 관한 이론을 토대로 살펴 본 결과 동시대적 인물의 시에 차운하는 경우는 ‘접촉’의 요소가 강조되어 언어의 친교적 기능이 우세해지고, 고인의 시에 차운하는경우는 ‘약호’의 요소가 강조되어 언어의 ‘메타 언어적 기능’이 우세해지며, 자기 자신의 시를 원운으로 하는 경우는 ‘발신자’의 요소와 ‘정서적 기능’이 우세해진다는 것을 알 수 있었다.
Abstract
Working with Yun Seon-do’s poetry, this article intends to explore the characteristics of rhyme-borrowing verses in terms of the perspective of intertextuality. Intertextuality is a kind of literary device that creates an interrelationship between texts. Various aspects of intertextuality are observed among Sino-Korean poetry and the rhyme-borrowing verses, which refer to those that borrow the rhyme of other person’s poem, are believed a representative form of the intertextuality. For the successful analysis of Yun’s rhyme- borrowing verses, this article intends to classify them into three types: first, the case that borrow the rhyme from the pieces of his contemporaries secondly, the case that borrow it from the poems of the past people thirdly, the case that borrow it from his own poems. With employing Jacobson’s communication model, this article reached the conclusion as follows; in the first type the focus is on the factor of the ‘contact’ among the six factors of Jacobson’s model, then the ‘phatic function’ of language is foregrounded, and in the second and the third type the factors of the ‘code’ and the ‘addresser’ are respectively focused on and the ‘meta-lingual’ and the ‘emotive’ function are emphasized.
