한자사전의 용례 선정 원칙과 실제 –‘乾’자 표제어휘 용례를 중심으로 –

Abstract

I tried to research the selection rules and the aspects of usages of the Chinese Character Dictionaries, such as Dai Kan-Wa Jiten(大漢和辭典), Zhongwen Da Cidian(中文大辭典), Hanyu Da Cidian(漢語大詞典), and Han Han Dae Sajeon(漢韓大辭典). Dai Kan-Wa Jiten(大漢和辭典) collected not only the form, pronunciation, and meaning of the chinese characters but also usages of the words, especially presented the original documents the words had appeared. Dai Kan-Wa Jiten(大漢和辭典) had attached great importance to the accuracy and objectivity of usages. Zhongwen Da Cidian(中文大辭典) tried to collect the national culture and present the original documents of usages precisely. Hanyu Da Cidian(漢語大詞典) concentrated on the process of development and changes of the Chinese characters and words from the ancient times to the present age. Especially Hanyu Da Cidian(漢語大詞典) tried to show the first appearance of each characters and words in literary material. Han Han Dae Sajeon(漢韓 大辭典) focused on the function of the chinese character dictionary as a interpretation tool for the Chinese literary stuff, and collected the usages from the literatures of the Confucianist, Taoist, historians, and the famous poets and writers. I compared the usages of these dictionaries, specially the usages of the Chinese character ‘sky (乾)’ in this paper. Sometimes these dictionaries presented same usages, and sometimes theses dictionaries presented different usages. The same usages among these dictionaries were caused by the customs of Chinese cultural area, especially writing customs. And the particularity of these dictionaries were caused by the policy of compilation.
