Russo-Japanese War is the biggest conflict of those which happened in the early 20th century. Especially Korea became the battlefield from the beginning of the war, and became a colony of Japan after the war. Russo-Japanese War has influenced the world. Great Britain and the United States and Japan looked to a united front. And France and Germany was supported for Russia. After the beginning of the war Japan was still winning. However, the ability to continue the war did not. Japan has requested a cease-fire talks and Russia also agreed. Roosevelt was conducting the arbitration. Conference were held in Portsmouth in August 9, 1905. The problem of war reparations in the Treaty of Portsmouth was decisive condition determining conclusion of peace negotiation. Japan had think which gain a victory on both land and sea take optimistic view relatively, but Russia had a different idea. Conference suffered a hiatus. However, Japan and Russia were concessions to each other, the Treaty was signed. Manchuria and Korea in the Russo-Japanese war was the most important thing. Korea issues first negotiations were completed. Korea issues was resolved first in conference. By the Treaty of Portsmouth, Japan had secured a controlling interest in Korea. After the conclusion of the Treaty of Portsmouth, Japan was processed an aggressive invasion policy.

Russo-Japanese War is the biggest conflict of those which happened in the early 20th century.
