The purpose of this study is to provide fundamental resource for assisting curriculum development in college departments related to tourism industry. A variety of roles are required to the professional labor forces who work in tourism industry after college graduation. However, in order to nurture the manpower needed in tourism-related industry, the precise analysis of present curriculum and field centered curriculum development needs to be made, satisfying the demand of tourism industry. Therefore, this study first sets up curriculum development direction, selects Job Model and core capabilities by applying DACUM of an efficient curriculum development method and analyzes Knowledge, Skill and Tool. Based on the processes, the major high-level college subjects are developed for cultivating the professional labor forces needed in tourism-related industry.
