이 연구는 한국종합사회조사(KGSS) 2012년 자료를 이용하여, Easterlin과 Sawangfa(2009)가 연구한 행복감과 삶의 영역별 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 근거로 한국인의 행복감에 영향을 미치는 결정요인을 검증하고자 하였다. 분석결과 한국인의 행복감은 행복을 둘러싼 삶의 각 영역(일, 가정생활, 가계경제)에 대한 인식에 의해 더 잘 설명되며, 행복감에 인과적 영향을 미치는 요인은 모형마다 차이가 있지만 공통적으로 주관적 계층의식이 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 영역별 만족도 가운데 가정생활만족도가 특히 더 많은 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이것은 개인이 한국사회에서 어느 정도의 위치에 있는가 하는 심리적 요인이 행복에 중요한 인과적 영향을 미치고 있으며, 우리가 살면서 행복감을 느끼게 되는 가장 중요한 요인은 바로 가정의 행복이라는 것임을 의미한다.
Abstract
Using KGSS(Korean General Social Survey) 2012, this study is to investigates the determinants of happiness in Korea based on Easterlin and Sawangfa(2009)'s study which was to validate the decision factors affecting the happiness and domain satisfaction. Koreans' happiness was better explained by the domain satisfaction(work, family life, finances) which means that happiness is the net outcome of satisfaction with all of the major domains of life. The effect of subjective class identification on the happiness was found to have a statistically significant casual effect in Korea. This means that in Korea where objective conditions of happiness are quite sought after but psychological factors seems to be more important than objective resource in predicting happiness.
