본 논문은 중등교육현장에서 실시되고 있는 성교육을 위해서 TV 드라마를 컨텐츠로 토론수업 모델을 개발하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 7차 교육과정에서 각 학교는 10시간 이상의 성교육 프로그램을 교육하고 있다. 교육내용은 이성교제, 성폭력 예방, 성문화, 양성평등, 임신과 출산 및 피임에 대한 다양한 측면을 포함하고 있다. 그러나 이런 교육내용이 교육 수혜자들의 성에 대한 인식을 바꾸고, 올바른 가치관을 형성하는데 얼마나 직접적인 도움이 되고 있는지 의문이다. 본 논문에서는 현대사회의 성사랑결혼문화의 단면을 가장 잘 보여주는 TV 드라마를 활용하여 성교육을 위한 토론수업 모델을 개발한다. 구체적인 드라마의 상황 속에서 학생들이 자신의 입장을 선택하고 토론을 하면, 현실적인 성교육의 효과를 거둘 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 토론을 통한 성교육은 단순 지식전달의 교육이 가지는 한계를 극복할 수 있다. 그리고 본 논문에서 소재로 삼고 있는 드라마는 토론자들이 현대사회의 성사랑결혼문화가 안고 있는 문제를 상황에 비추어 분석한 후에 바람직한 성사랑결혼문화를 모색해 볼 수 있는 기회를 제공할 것이다.이 글은 현대사회의 성사랑결혼문화를 비판적으로 재검토하고자 한다. 현대인들이 경험하고 있는 성사랑결혼문화를 살펴보면, 개인에게 선택권이 있는 것처럼 보이지만 아주 정교한 틀을 통해서 끊임없이 생산되는 성사랑결혼의 이데올로기가 작동하고 있다. 이 글의 목적은 그런 성사랑결혼문화의 이데올로기로부터 벗어날 수 있는 성교육 모델을 창안하는 것이다.
Abstract
The Development of a Model of a Discussion Class for the Sex Education at Middle School The purpose of this paper is to develop a discussion class model of sex education at the middle school based on the contents of television drama. In the seventh educational curriculum, more than ten hours of sex education program is taught at the middle school. The contents of sex education include heterosexual contacts, prevention of sexual violence, sex culture, equality of both sexes, pregnance and delivery, birth control, and so on. But it is doubtful how successfully these contents can change the perception on the sex and form healthy value. Therefore, this paper makes use of the television drama contents that reveal very well the current culture of sex, love, and marriage. In the concrete drama situation, students select their own position. And a model of sex education is developed through the evaluation on the selection. The problems of the current culture of sex, love, and marriage are also discussed, and the alternative culture of sex, love, and marriage will be explored. This paper is focused on the exploration of a new culture of sex, love, and marriage through the process of critical analysis of current culture of sex, love, and marriage. It is really needed to reflect the current culture of sex, love, and marriage. There is an ideology that is continuously reproduced. The purpose of this paper is to develop a model of discussion class of sex education that can help to recover the ideology.
