Holland진로탐색프로그램이 고등학교 학습부진아의 RIASEC유형별 진로효능감에 미치는 효과

초록

본 연구의 목적은 Holland진로탐색프로그램이 고등학교 학습부진아의 RIASEC유형별 진로효능감에 미치는 효과를 알아보는 것이다. 이를 수행하기 위해 부산광역시에 소재한 Y 일반계고등학교 1학년 실험집단 2학급과 통제학급 2학급에서 최종적으로 학습부진아 50명으로 선별하여 실험집단에 8주 동안 총 16회기에 걸쳐 본 연구자의 전문가의 도움을 받아 제작한 자작프로그램인 Holland진로탐색프로그램을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 진로효능감에 대한 개체간 효과검증을 살펴보면, 실재형, 예술형, 사회형 유능감은 유의미한 차이가 있는 반면에 탐구형, 기업형, 관습형 유능감은 차이가 없다. 둘째, 검사시기에 따른 주효과는 실재형, 예술형, 사회형, 관습형 유능감은 유의미한 차이가 있는 반면에 탐구형, 기업형 유능감은 유의미한 차이가 없다. 셋째, 기업형 유능감은 유의미하지는 않았지만 사전에 비해 사후점수가 향상되었음을 알 수 있다. 따라서 학교에서 교사들은 학생의 성격스타일에 맞는 학습지도방법을 적용하여 개별적으로 지도하게 될 때, 학생들은 학교교육이 즐겁고 흥미롭게 될 것이며 학습부진도 극복될 것이다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to apply Holland's career theory to underachievers by verifying the validity of the theory in terms of the congruence theory of vocational personality with vocational environment. According to the theory, it is assumed that underachievers are mostly not the investigative types(I type), have lower cognitive abilities for academic achievement. As though they would have their own self efficacy(physical abilities for the R types, human relationship for the S and E types), other than cognitive abilities, actually their self efficacy are very low due to chronic academic failure. The differences between the two groups were examined and the results were as follows: First, Holland's Career Exploration Program was significantly effective to increase positive responses of all Holland test items of underachievers. Second, Holland's Career Exploration Program was significantly effective to increase the career efficacy of underachievers in General high school. In conclusion, Holland Career Exploration Program is very effective for underachievers. Underachievers were satisfied with congruent environment for their RIASEC personality type each, compared with incongruent environment. Especially, it strongly suggest to be congruent between underachievers' RIASEC types and their own learning and instructional treatment in the real educational settings in order to improve their self efficacy for their future occupational success.
