Durkheim 사상에서 도덕의 근거 개념 고찰 -사회의 의미 분석과 교육적 함의를 중심으로-

본 연구에서는 Durkheim의 사상에서 사회에 대한 개념 분석을 토대로 공동체가 추구해야 할 도덕이 어떤 것이며 그것의 교육적 함의를 찾아보고자 하였다. Durkheim은 사회는 인간 지성이 결집된 보물창고로서 축적된 가치로 개인을 성장시키는 역할을 하며 도덕적으로 사회를 재구성하는 것의 필요성을 강조하였다. 그래서 교사는 사회의 실체를 아이들에게 이해시킬 의무가 있으며 학교는 시민도덕의 훈련장으로서 집합적 삶을 체험하는 곳이 되어야 한다고 하였다. 사회로부터 이탈된 개인은 아노미 상태에 빠지거나 자기보존의 의무를 쉽게 저버린다. 또한 도덕적 권위를 잃은 사회는 개인의 보호막이 될 수 없다. 오늘날 도덕적 가치를 논의하고 도덕성을 회복하고자 하는 일은 공동체의 존속을 위한 인간이 할 수 있는 마지막 보루이자 최선의 방법이다. Durkheim 사상에 담긴 ‘사회’의 개념은 공동체의 도덕의 이론적 기초를 마련하고 이해하는데 소중한 의미를 준다.
Abstract
This study is a conceptual analysis of Durkheim's moral thought on freedom and solidarity and object to find out what is the morality which we seek after. Durkheim defined that th society is the collection of human intelligence and He emphasized we need to reconstruct the society to grow up human beings. So, teachers have obligation to make students know the society substance and school must be the place where students can experience the gathering life as a citizen morality training center. The individual person who is isolated from society can be in anomie state and easily forget self-reservation obligation. And the society which loses moral power also can not be protection of each individual person. nowaday, It is the last method for society continuance to discuss the moral value and recover the morality. The concept of society in Durkheim's thought helps us to make the theoretical basement of community morality and understand them.
