고등학교 교실 현장에서는 앞으로 민주시민의 주역이 될 학생들이 적극적인 정치 참여를 할 수 있도록 체계적인 학습지도를 할 필요가 있다. 그러나 교실현장은 이에 대해 성공적이지 못하다. 이러한 문제의식에 입각하여 현행 제 7차 교육과정에서 출판되어 있는 고등학교 「정치」교과서 4종 <대한교과서, 법문사, 지학사, 천재교육>을 인습적인 정치참여의 각 유형에 따라 비판적으로 분석해 본 다음, 이를 바탕으로 하여 정치참여의 각 유형에 따라 어떠한 학습내용을 심화 학습 지도해야 할 것인지 그 바람직한 방안을 제시해 보고자 하였다.
Abstract
The Instruction of Participation Methods Based on Conventional Political Participation in High School "Government" Textbooks In high school classrooms, it is necessary to systematically instruct students who will consist of the democratic citizenry in the future, so that they can participate actively in political life. Such efforts, however, have proven unsuccessful. Under these circusmstances, this study intends first to critically analyze four sorts of high school "Government" textbooks, now appeared in the current Seventh National Curricula, in accordance with five patterns of conventional political participation such as voters, campaigners, community activists, contacters, and communicators, and then to suggest desirable ways on what kinds of learning contents should be intensively instructed according to each pattern of political participation.
