유아교사의 DEC 가족 중재 전략에 대한 중요도 실행도 분석

본 연구는 한국과 미국의 유아교사들을 대상으로 DEC가 추천한 실제 가운데 가족 중재와 관련된 10가지 실제들에 대한 중요도 및 실행도에 대한 인식을 설문을 통해 알아보았다. 두 나라 유아교사들의 인식 차이를 비교하고, 중요도 실행도 분석법을 통해 개선이 필요한 구체적인 실제들을 확인해 보았다. 연구 결과, 미국의 교사들의 중요도와 실행도의 인식 정도가 한국 교사들의 인식 정도보다 통계적으로 유의미하게 높게 나타났다. 중요도 실행도 분석 결과, 한국의 유아교사들은 다문화 및 이중 언어, 개별화교육계획 등의 다섯 가지 실제들을 개선이 필요한 것으로 인식하고 있었다. 이에 비해 미국 유아교사들은 가족권리와 자원 활용에 관한 두 가지 실제를 개선이 필요한 것으로 인식하고 있었다. 본 연구의 제한점과, 후속적 연구를 위한 제언, 그리고 교사 연수 및 양성에 관한 시사점에 대해 논의하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of current study is to examine early childhood education teachers’ perceptions of importance, implementation of DEC’s family recommended practices(DECRPF). Importance-Performance Analysis was conducted to identify poorly implemented individual practices among all 10 practices Overall, there were very strong and significant correlations. Most respondents felt the DECRPF was important and they were competent implementing them. Respondents also believed that they frequently implemented the DECRPF in their classrooms. A discussion of the limitations of the current study are suggested. Implications for future research and teacher preparation also are discussed.
