품행문제 아동과 일반 아동의 기질 및 성격 특성 비교

초록

본 연구는 초등1-3학년의 품행문제 아동과 일반 아동의 기질 및 성격 특성을 비교하고, 각 집단을 변별해주는 기질 및 성격 특성을 알아봄으로서 아동의 품행문제를 예방하고 중재하는데 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 2013년 6월부터 2015년 12월까지 G광역시의 아동·가족 상담센터에 내원한 품행문제 아동 32명과 일반 아동 35명을 대상으로 아동의 기질 및 성격과 문제행동을 평가하였고, SPSS 통계프로그램을 통해 t-test, 이항 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기질에서 품행문제 아동은 일반아동 보다 높은 자극추구, 낮은 사회적 민감성, 낮은 인내력을 보였고, 하위요인에서는 충동성/심사숙고, 무절제/절제, 자유분방/질서정연, 의존/독립, 근면, 끈기, 성취에 대한 야망, 완벽주의가 낮게 나타났다. 둘째, 성격에서 품행문제 아동은 일반아동보다 낮은 자율성, 낮은 연대감을 보였고, 하위요인에서는 책임감, 목적의식, 유능감/무능감, 자기수용/자기불만, 타인수용, 공감/둔감, 이타성/이기성, 관대함/복수심, 공평/편파가 낮게 나타났다. 셋째, 로지스틱 회귀분석 결과 기질에서 자극추구가 높을수록, 사회적민감성이 낮을수록, 성격에서 자율성, 연대감이 낮을수록 품행문제를 보일 확률이 증가하였다. 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 품행문제 아동의 기질 및 성격 특성의 취약성을 논의하고, 품행문제 아동의 일상생활 적응 및 사회적 관계 향상을 위한 제언을 하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to compare temperament and character patterns of children with conduct problem with normal group under 10 years old. The sample comprised of 67 elementary school students who came to 2 child counselling center, G-city. The measurements were K-CBCL and JTCI. The results were as follows: First, The conduct problem group scored higher than normal children in novelty seeking, but scored lower in reward dependence and persistence. Second, The conduct problem group scored lower than normal children in self- directedness, cooperativeness. Third, According to Logistic regression analysis, more novelty seeking is high and reward dependence, self-directedness, cooperativeness is lower, increased the odds appear conduct disorder tendency. The results indicated that temperament and character patterns of conduct problem group were different from those of normal children under 10 years old.
