본 연구는 어머니의 식사지도와 양육태도가 유아의 자기조절력에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 연구대상은 전라남도 지역 소재한 어린이집과 유치원에 다니는 만3～5세 유아의 어머니 302명이었다. 자료분석은 Pearson 상관분석과 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 어머니의 식사지도 중 요구도는 자기조절력의 행동억제와 정서성에 부적 상관으로 나타났고, 반응성은 자기평가, 자기결정, 행동억제 영역에서 정적인 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 어머니의 양육태도 중 애정적, 자율적, 통제적 태도는 유아의 자기조절력과 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났고, 거부적 태도는 부적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 어머니가 요구적 식사지도를 적게 사용할수록, 반응적 식사지도를 많이 사용할수록 자기조절력 중 자기결정, 행동억제, 정서성이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 어머니의 양육태도는 유아의 자기조절력에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 어머니의 식사지도와 양육태도에 대해 이해를 높이는 계기를 마련하여 바람직한 식사지도 및 양육태도에 대한 부모교육내용 구성을 위한 기초자료를 제공하는데 의의를 둔다.
Abstract
This study analyzed how mothers’ feeding guidance and parenting attitude affect children’s self-regulation. The subjects were 302 mothers of children between 3-5 years of age attending daycare centers or kindergartens in Jeollanam Province. The resources were analyzed using the Pearson’s regression analysis and multiple regression analysis. As a result, first, there was a negative correlation between demand of mothers’ feeding guidance and behavioral suppression and emotionality of self-regulation, whereas responsiveness has a positive correlation with self-evaluation, self-decision, and behavioral suppression. Second, affective, autonomous, and controlling attitudes of mothers’ feeding guidance had a positive correlation with children’s self-regulation and rejective attitude had a negative correlation. Third, self-decision, behavioral suppression, and emotionality of self-regulation were high with less demanding feeding guidance and more responsive feeding guidance. Fourth, mothers’ parenting attitude had an effect on children’s self- regulation. Based on these findings, it was possible to better understand mothers’ feeding guidance and parenting attitude to provide fundamental resources for developing parent training programs for helpful feeding guidance and parenting attitude.
