어머니와 유아 기질 군집에 따른 양육스트레스와 유아정서행동문제의 관계

초록

본 연구는 어머니와 유아의 기질에 따른 기질 군집을 분류하고, 이에 따른 어머니의 양육 스트레스와 유아의 정서행동문제의 차이를 확인하여 가장 조화로운 어머니-유아 기질 조합을 탐색하였다. 이를 위해 만 3~6세 자녀의 어머니 392명을 대상으로 어머니의 기질, 유아의 기질, 양육 스트레스(K-PSI-SF)와 정서행동문제(K-CBCL 1.5-5)를 묻는 설문을 실시하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 어머니와 유아의 기질 군집분석을 실시한 결과 유아의 경우, ‘적응형’, ‘저민감형’, ‘회피적 부적응형’, ‘조심형’의 4개의 군집으로, 어머니의 경우, ‘예민형’, ‘평범형’, ‘억제형’, ‘활동적 조절형’의 4개의 군집으로 분류되었다. 둘째, 유아의 ‘적응형’과 어머니의 ‘활동적 조절형’ 조합에서 가장 낮은 양육 스트레스 및 정서행동문제가 나타났으며, 유아의 ‘회피적 부적응형’과 어머니의 ‘억제형’ 조합에서 가장 높은 양육 스트레스 및 정서행동문제가 나타났다. 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 어머니와 유아의 조화로운 기질 군집의 조합을 살펴볼 수 있어 부모 상담 및 교육 시, 적절한 개입을 위한 유용한 정보를 제공할 수 있다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

Abstract

This study classifies mother-child temperament cluster, and identifies the difference in mother’s parenting stress and child’s behavior problems to explore the most harmonious mother-child temperament cluster. For this purpose, a total of 392 mothers of 36 to 84 months child were measured using mother’s parenting stress, child’s behavior problems, child’s temperament, and mother’s temperament. The results were as follow. First, a cluster analysis of the temperament of mothers and children resulted in four clusters of child: ‘adaptive’, ‘low sensitive’, ‘avoidant maladjustment’, ‘caution’, and four clusters of mothers: ‘sensitive’, ‘normal’, ‘inhibition’, ‘active moderating’. Second, the combination of infant’s ‘adaptive’ and mother’s ‘active moderating’ experienced the lowest parenting stress, and the internalization and externalization problems of the child were the lowest. On the other hand, the combination of infant’s, ‘avoidant maladjustment type’ and mother’s, ‘inhibition type’ experienced the highest parenting stress and the internalization and externalization problems of the infant were the highest. Based on the results of this study, it is meaningful that a combination of harmonious temperament clusters of mothers and infants can provide useful information for proper intervention during parental counseling and education. 202
