잠재프로파일분석을 통한 청소년 문제행동 유형분류 및 부모자녀관계 탐색

본 연구는 잠재프로파일분석을 통해 청소년 문제행동 유형을 분류하고, 각 유형별로 청소년과 부모 간 부모자녀관계에 어떠한 차이가 있는 지를 구체적으로 살펴보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 서울시, 경기도, 충청도, 강원도 및 경상도 소재 중·고등학생 총 1,018명(남학생 533명, 여학생 485명; 중학생 254명, 고등학생 764명)이었다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 잠재프로파일분석을 통해 청소년 문제행동 유형을 분류한 결과, ‘안정형’, ‘정서·행동조절곤란형’ 및 ‘또래갈등·품행문제형’ 총 3유형으로 분류되었다. 둘째, 남학생은 여학생에 비해 ‘또래갈등·품행문제형’에, 여학생은 남학생에 비해 ‘정서·행동조절곤란형’에 더 많이 속하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 청소년 문제행동 유형별로 부모자녀관계에 차이가 있는 지를 살펴본 결과, 남·여학생 모두 ‘또래갈등·품행문제형’에 속할 경우 부모자녀 관계좌절감을 더 높게 경험하였으며, 부모는 애정을 주지 않고, 자녀의 자율성을 존중하지 못하며, 오히려 과잉간섭을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로, 남학생은 ‘또래갈등·품행문제형’에 속할 경우, 여학생과 달리 부모가 일관성 있는 적절한 훈육을 하지 못하고 있었으며, 여학생은 ‘정서·행동조절곤란형’에 속할 경우, 남학생과 달리 부모가 애정을 주지 않고, 자율성도 존중하지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 청소년 문제행동에 대한 효과적인 상담·개입을 위해서는 남·여 청소년 성별에 따른 차별화된 문제행동 유형별 상담·개입 및 청소년 문제행동 유형별 맞춤형 부모교육 프로그램 개발이 요구된다.

Abstract

This study attempted to classify the types of adolescent problem behavior through latent profile analysis and examine differences in the parent-child relationship according to each problem behavior type group. The subjects were a total of 1,018 middle and high school students(533 boys, 485 girls). The research results are as follows: First, they were classified into three types: ‘stable type’, ‘emotional/behavioral control difficult type’, and ‘peer conflict/conduct problem type’. Second, It was found that female students were more likely to fall into the ‘peer conflict/conduct problem type’ than female students, and female students were more likely to fall into the ‘emotional/behavioral control type’ type compared to male students. Lastly, when male adolescents belonged to the ‘peer conflict/behavior problem type’, their parents were unable to provide consistent and appropriate discipline. When female adolescents belonged to the ‘emotional/behavioral control type’, their parents did not provide appropriate discipline and respect autonomy.
