청소년의 정서·행동문제와 관련변인과의 관계

초록

본 연구는 청소년 관련변인(성별, 학년, 사회경제적 수준, 부모-자녀갈등)이 정서·행동문제(내면화문제, 외현화문제)와 어떤 예측관계를 가지는지 알아보고자 하였다. 본 연구의 대상은 G시 소재 2개 남녀공학 중학교에 재학 중인 약 750명의 학생들이었다. 이 학생들을 대상으로 750부의 설문지를 배부한 결과 715부(95%)가 회수되었으며 그 가운데 자료로 부적절한 설문지를 제외한 653부(87%)가 최종 분석 자료로 사용되었다. 수집된 자료에 대한 두 독립표본 t검증, Pearson 상관분석, 중다회귀분석을 실시하여 나타난 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 내면화문제를 남자청소년이 여자 청소년보다 더 많이 경험하였으며, 학년이 높을수록, 정서ㆍ행동문제(내면화문제, 외현화문제)가 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 어머니갈등, 아버지갈등, 부모전체갈등과 정서ㆍ행동문제(내면화문제, 외현화문제)는 정적상관을 가짐으로서, 어머니와 아버지 그리고 부모전체와의 갈등을 더 많이 경험한 청소년일수록 정서ㆍ행동문제(내면화문제, 외현화문제)가 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 어머니갈등, 학년, 성별 순으로 내면화문제를, 부모전체갈등, 학년 순으로 외현화문제에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과는 관련 선행연구와 관련하여 논의되었으며 향후 관련연구를 위한 몇 가지 제언이 제시되었다.

Abstract

This survey is to present that related variables (sex, grade, socioeconomic status and conflicts between parents and their children) are some connections with adolescent's emotional & behavioral problems (internalizing problems, externalizing problems). About 750 students at two coeducation middle schools in G were targeted. Totally 750 questionnaires were distributed and only 715 (95%) papers were returned. 635 of them (87%) were able to be used in the final analysis date except a few that some remainders answered improperly. The results using two-independent samples t-test, Pearson’s product-moment correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis about the collected date, could be summarized to the following:First, male adolescents having internalizing problems, have suffered from more emotional and behavior problems than females. some students in the upper grade or belonging in high income families have been in more emotional and behavior problems(internalizing problems, externalizing problems). Second, the emotional and behavior problems(internalizing problems, externalizing problems) have highly risen among teenagers who were in ceaseless conflicts against their father and mother or both. Lastly, conflicts against their mother, upper grade and sex in order of priority let their internalizing problems increase. Conflicts against their parents and upper grade in order also makes their externalizing problems increase. The results were discussed and several suggestions were presented for a future related research.
