프로젝트나 통합교육과정 구성은 전혀 새로운 내용이 아니라 할 만큼 그동안 통합교육과정 구성은 꾸준히 있어왔다. 그러나 전체 교육과정의 내용들을 몇 가지 주제로 모으는 정도에 그치는 통합의 경우가 많아 사실 삶의 문제를 총체적 관점에서 해결하고자 하는 통합의 본래적 의도를 살렸다고 보기에는 무리가 있다. 본 논문은 아동의 삶의 문제를 중심으로 교육과정을 통합하고 이를 프로젝트 학습방법을 통하여 적용해보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 먼저 국가 수준의 교육과정의 목표를 파악하여 교사 수준에서 통합 교육과정을 구성하였다. 그리고 프로젝트 학습을 통하여 문제를 해결해나가는 과정에서 아동의 관심 문제를 포함한 교육내용으로 다시 조율하여 통합 교육과정을 재구성하였다. 이상의 연구를 바탕으로 그동안 통합의 과정에서 고려되지 않았던 아동의 삶의 문제를 통합의 과정에서 고려해야 함을 제기하고자 하였다.
Abstract
Curriculum integration wasn't new approach, but it has been extensively discussed in the field of elementary schooling. However, it was mainly that the integrated curriculum was the collection of a few themes linked. In that sense, it was difficult to say that it came ture just as the idea of curriculum integration intended solving problems of life in the whole point. The major this study integrated curriculum integrating focused of the problems of child's life and tried to applicate it using project learning method. To this aim, First of all, this study analysed National Elementary Curriculum's objectives and developed integrated curriculum as a level teacher. In the process of the problem solving through project learning, second, it was well-match-ed with childrens' interests or needs. Finally, it was reconstructed. In conclusion, this study suggest that every day lives' problems of children must consider in the developing integrated curriculum.
