한국의 천민자본주의 가치관과 경제개혁의 한계: 교육적 해결방안

경제적인 합리성은 효율성과 윤리성으로 구성되는 바, 천민자본주의 가치관은 경제적인 윤리성을 심각하게 훼손하여 신뢰와 협력으로 대표되는 사회자본 형성을 저해함으로써 지식기반경제의 원활한 발전을 위한 경제개혁에 한계 요인으로 작용하고 있다. 이에 대한 교육적인 해결방법은 영적 교육과 전인교육을 통해 금욕적인 합리주의 정신을 사회 전반에 확산시키는데 있다 할 것이다. 특히 우리나라의 경우 천민자본주의의 극복을 위해서는 기독교 사상에 입각한 자본주의 정신과 윤리의 내면화가 필수적이며, 각자 중생(Born-again)을 통한 가치관, 인생관, 세계관 변화만이 해결책이 된다 할 것이다.
Abstract
The spread of pariah capitalism thought destroys economic rationality that is consisted with economic efficiency and morality. Through the latter, especially, it results the low formation of social capital such as mutual trust and cooperation. In this respect, it could be a major factor which hinders the economic reform for the sustained development of knowledge-based economy. An educational solution for the problem is supposed to expand the stoic rationalism in our society by way of both the spiritual education and the education for the whole man. Overcoming the demerits of pariah capitalism in Korea, the spirit and ethics of capitalism based on protestantism should be internalized in individual valuation structure through economic education concentrated on the spiritual education.
