교육적인 것의 의미 고찰 - van Manen의 해명을 중심으로 -

본 연구는 van Manen이 해명한 ‘교육적인 것’의 의미를 살펴보았다. 이를 위해서 교사는 어떤 사람인지, 교사가 하는 교육이라는 것이 무엇인지, 그래서 교사교육을 어떻게 해야 하고, 교육학이 축적해야 할 지식이 어떤 지식인지 등의 질문을 van Manen이 어떻게 해명하는지를 밝혔다. 연구 결과, van Manen의 ‘교육적인 것’은 교육이 분위기를 타는 활동이며, 교육학 및 교사교육은 교육이 일어나는 상황에서 교사가 어떤 생각을 하고, 어떻게 개입해야 하는지를 알려 주는데 필요한 교육을 해야 한다고 논의하였다. 이에 본 고찰을 통해서 현상학적 해석학자로서 van Manen의 교육적인 것은 교육적인 분위기를 만드는 일이며, 이것을 그는 Pedagody에 대한 해명 과정에서 제시하고 있었다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to inquire the interpretation of pedagogy by van Manen. This study investigated van Manen's interpretation of educational phenomenology regarding who teacher is, what teaching is, how to educate teachers, and what educational knowledge is. As a result, first, it discussed that van Manen's pedagogical is atmosphere activity that guides teachers how to think and behave in learning situations. van Manen as a phenomenological interpreter suggested what we should research, what educational(pedagogical) knowledges are through explaining teacher's intervention in place where teaching and learning are in progress. And it was recognized that pedagogical atmosphere is in the process of interpreting pedagogy.
