본 연구의 목적은 대학생의 변혁적 역량을 진단할 수 있는 측정 도구를 개발하고 타당화 하는 것이다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 A교육대학교 512명을 대상으로 탐색적 요인분석, 확인적 요인분석을 실시하고, 수렴타당도와 판별타당도를 확인하였다. 탐색적 요인분석 결과, 새로운 가치 창출하기, 긴장과 딜레마 조정하기, 책임감 갖기에 대한 범주에서 각각 3개의 하위 요인이 추출되었다. 탐색적 요인분석 결과에서 도출된 하위 변인에 대한 연구모형을 설정하고, 확인적 요인분석, 수렴타당도, 판별타당도를 확인하여 대학생의 변혁적 역량 측정 도구의 검사 문항과 요인을 타당화하였다. 본 연구에서는 대학생의 변혁적 역량을 3개의 범주로 구성하고, 각 범주별로 하위 요인을 설정하였다. 본 연구에서 개발한 대학생의 변혁적 역량 측정 도구의 새로운 가치 창출하기는 창의성, 호기심, 개방성으로 하위 요인을 구성하였고, 긴장과 딜레마 조정하기의 하위 요인은 통합성, 논리, 관점을 하위 요인으로 구성하였으며, 책임감 갖기의 하위 요인으로 예상, 책임 및 성찰, 협력을 하위 요인으로 구성하였다. 본 연구가 변혁적 역량 진단 도구 개발을 활성화하고, 대학생의 변혁적 역량을 진단하는 데 활용되기를 기대한다.
Abstract
This study aims to develop and validate a diagnostic tool for assessing transformative competencies of university students. An exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis was conducted on a sample of 512 students from A University of Education to examine the convergent validity and discriminant validity of constructs. Results of the exploratory factor analysis revealed the following three distinct dimensions of transformative competencies and three subfactors from each dimension: Creating new value, managing tension and dilemmas, and taking responsibility. The confirmatory factor analysis verified the validity of the model, demonstrating strong construct validity across all factors. Specifically, creating new value encompasses creativity, curiosity, and openness; managing tensions and dilemmas includes integration, logic, and perspective; and taking responsibility involves foresight, accountability and reflection, and collaboration. This newly developed diagnostic tool holds potential as a valuable resource for accurately assessing transformative competencies of university students and contributing to the broader field of transformative education.
