이 글의 목적은 “체육 혹은 무용 그리고 유아교육 등 신체의 움직임을 매개로 하여 이루어지는 교육활동이 지금까지 어떠한 양상을 보여 왔으며, 또 앞으로 어떠한 방향으로 나가야 하는지를 탐색”하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 첫째, 교육과 움직임의 전통적 개념의 한계와 그 대안을 제시하였고 둘째, 심신이원론적 입장과 심신일원론적 입장에서 교육의 목표가 어떻게 달라지는가에 관한 살펴보았다. 셋째, 교육방법으로서 직접지도와 간접지도의 핵심적 속성을 살펴서, 가르치는 목표 및 내용과 그 교육방법이 일관성이 있어야 함을 지적하였고. 마지막으로, 평가는 성적부여의 의미와는 다르며, 의도한 수업목표의 달성도를 확인하는 측면에서, 개인간 비교인 양적평가와 개인내 이해인 질적평가를 다루었다. 이러한 전통적 움직임교육의 실태와 반성을 통해 미래의 움직임교육은 교육목표와 내용, 그리고 방법 및 평가에서 일관성을 갖출 수 있도록 예비교사 및 현장교사 그리고 생활 속에서 움직임을 매개로 교육하는 실천가들을 준비시켜야 할 것이다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to review the physical and dance education in past 100 years and to vision the those education directions for the future. To complete this aims. Firstly, we reviewed the limitation of traditional definition of education and provided additional concepts of education. Secondly, we reviewed that the education goal is changed according to the view of human(body-mind dualism or identity theory). Thirdly, we checked that the consistency between the educational goal, content, and method is the most important in this field. Direct and Inquiry methods is 2 ways of various methods in educational process. Lastly, evaluation is regarded not as the grading, but as checking the achievement of previous educational goal. Quantitative evaluation is based on the inter-personal comparison, Qualitative evaluation is based on the intra-personal understanding. We as a movement pedagogist, have to provide our students who are pre-teachers, in service teachers, or practitioners with the expertise having contingency in the process of movement education(goal setting, content-selecting, method-applying, and evaluation).
