Abstract
This paper theoretically and empirically analyzes the importance of idiosyncratic shocks and the input-output network structure, in the presence of industry-specific financial constraints, in accounting for Korean business cycles. We show that the roles of idiosyncratic shocks and industry network are important in explaining aggregate volatility in Korea. We also demonstrate that financial constraints in intermediate input sectors have significant impacts on aggregate output.
