This study was to identify the relationship between eating habits of preservice early childhood teachers and early childhood diet-guidance plan and also to investigate of these variables on any eating guidance plan of preservice early childhood teachers. The study carried on 224 early childhood education majors at University students in Seoul city and Gyeonggi-do. Multiple regression analysis was conducted to examine the influencing relationships therein. The results of this study were as follows. First, Regular eating habits group has significant relationship with eating self-efficacy among lower factors of eating habits and also indicate that balanced eating habits show significant relationship with eating self-efficacy and diet-guidance plan. Second, Results on preservice early childhood teachers eating habits and eating self-efficacy childhood diet-guidance show significant influences on all eating habits and lower factors such as regular eating habits, balanced food, and all other healthy food intakes in early childhood diet-guidance plan. It also shows that eating self-efficacy gives significant influences on diet-guidance plan.
Abstract
