영화 <다음 소희>를 활용한 여성학 수업 사례연구

본고는 대학 교양교과인 여성학 수업에서 영화 <다음 소희>를 활용해 ‘여성과 노동’ 주제 모듈을 진행한 사례연구다. 직장생활을 하며 야간에 대학을 다니는 학생들을 대상으로 처음으로 개설된 <젠더로 읽는 여성> 수업에서 텍스트로 다룬 <다음 소희>의 수사학적 함의와 교육 효과를 고찰하였다. 수강생들은 청년 여성노동의 현실을 비판적으로 고찰하며 자신의 실제 경험과 연결지어 글을 쓰고 앵커브리핑에 영화 내용을 반영하였다. 영화 <다음 소희>가 어떤 측면에서 설득과 공감을 이끌어냈는지 에토스, 파토스, 로고스 측면에서 작품을 분석하고, 또한 학습자 중심으로 운영된 교육과정에서 ‘여성과 노동’ 모듈에서 다룬 영화읽기, 독서토론, 현장인터뷰, 칼럼쓰기, 앵커브리핑 활동을 비롯해, 학생들이 학기말에 제출한 성찰일지와 포트폴리오의 내용분석을 통해 영화가 미친 교육적 의의를 고찰하였다. 이러한 수업 사례를 통해 학생들이 공동체 문제에 대한 비판적 사고와 실천적인 시민의식을 키워가는 데, 보다 효과적인 여성학 교양교육을 위한 사고와표현 학습 활동의 의미를 강조하였다.
Abstract
This paper is a case study in which the theme module of ‘Women and Labor’ was conducted using the movie <Next So-hee> in the women's studies class, a university liberal arts subject. The rhetorical implications and educational effects of <Next So-hee>, which was dealt with in text in the [Reading Women through Gender] class, which was first opened for students who go to college at night while working, were examined. The students critically considered the reality of youth women's labor, wrote in connection with their actual experiences, and reflected the film content in the anchor briefing. The work was analyzed in terms of Ethos, Pathos, and Logos, and in the learner-centered curriculum, the educational significance of the movie was examined through the reading of films, reading discussions, field interviews, column writing, and anchor briefing activities, and the content analysis of the reflection diary and portfolio submitted by students at the end of the semester. Through these class cases, the meaning of various learning activities of women's studies liberal arts education, which are more effective in developing critical thinking and practical civic awareness about community problems, was presented.
