연구배경 택티컬 어바니즘(Tactical Urbanism)은 도시재생과 공공공간 활용에서 단기적이고 실험적인 개입을 통해 도시 문제를 해결하는 전략으로 주목받고 있다. 본 연구는 국내에서 택티컬 어바니즘과 관련된 연구 동향을 파악하기 위해 최근 10년간(2014~2024년) 발표된 학술지와 연구 보고서를 대상으로 텍스트마이닝 기법을 활용하여 분석을 수행하였다. 연구방법 본 연구는 단어 빈도 분석, 토픽 모델링(LDA), 네트워크 분석을 적용하였다. 먼저, 단어 빈도 분석을 통해 자주 등장하는 주요 키워드를 도출하였으며, 토픽 모델링을 통해 도시재생, 임시적 공간 활용, 정책적 접근, 문화적 재생, 환경적 지속 가능성이라는 다섯 가지 주요 주제를 도출하였다. 또한, 네트워크 분석을 통해 키워드 간의 연관성을 파악하고 연구 주제 간의 구조적 특성을 이해하였다. 연구결과 ‘택티컬 어바니즘’, ‘도시재생’, ‘공간’, ‘참여’, ‘일시적’ 등이 주요 키워드로 도출되었으며, 이는 택티컬 어바니즘이 도시재생과 공공공간 활용에서 중심적인 역할을 하고 있음을 시사한다. 특히, 네트워크 분석에서는 ‘택티컬 어바니즘’과 ‘도시재생’이 네트워크의 중심 키워드로 확인되었으며, 연구 주제 간의 연결을 매개하는 중요한 역할을 수행하고 있음을 보여주었다. 결론 본 연구는 택티컬 어바니즘이 도시재생과 공공공간 활용을 중심으로 다양한 연구 주제를 연결하는 핵심 개념임을 확인하였다. 이를 바탕으로 택티컬 어바니즘이 도시계획 및 정책적 접근에서 실질적으로 활용될 가능성을 제시하며, 후속 연구에서 사례 분석과 국제적 비교를 통해 연구를 확장할 필요성을 강조하였다.
Abstract
Background Tactical Urbanism has emerged as a strategic approach to addressing urban issues through short-term and experimental interventions in urban regeneration and public space utilization. This study analyzed research trends related to Tactical Urbanism in South Korea using text-mining techniques, focusing on academic journals and research reports published over the past decade (2014–2024). Methods This researc사진으h employed word frequency analysis, topic modeling (LDA), and network analysis. First, word frequency analysis identified frequently occurring keywords. Topic modeling revealed five major topics: urban regeneration, temporary space utilization, policy-oriented approaches, cultural regeneration, and environmental sustainability. Additionally, network analysis examined the relationships between keywords and clarified the structural characteristics of the research themes. Result The key findings included the identification of primary keywords such as "Tactical Urbanism," "urban regeneration," "space," "participation," and "temporary," highlighting the central role of Tactical Urbanism in urban regeneration and public space utilization. Notably, network analysis confirmed that "Tactical Urbanism" and "urban regeneration" served as central keywords in the network, mediating connections between various research topics. Conclusion This study confirms that Tactical Urbanism is a pivotal concept linking diverse research topics centered on urban regeneration and public space utilization. Based on these findings, the study suggests that Tactical Urbanism has significant potential for practical application in urban planning and policy approaches. Furthermore, it underscores the need for future research to expand through case studies and international comparisons.
