초록
This study delves into the intricate dynamics of diplomatic relations among China, Japan, and South Korea by examining tangible and intangible cultural world heritage elements listed by UNESCO in these three nations. Employing historical retrospection, comparative research, and quantitative analysis, our investigation uncovers a direct correlation between the scale of world-class heritage status in East Asia and the national strength of each country. The emphasis placed on heritage structures and categories mirrors the cultural nuances and national psyche of each respective nation, while the handling of the application process and conflicts related to heritage applications vividly reflects the international relations and diplomatic approaches of these countries. Consequently, by dissecting the patterns inherent in world-class heritage applications, we offer a comparative and insightful depiction of historical shifts and current perspectives on international relations among East Asian countries.
