메를로-퐁티의 몸철학에서 나타난 상호몸성, 신학적 의의 및 적용

Abstract

In the early days of Korean missions, the Korean church played the role of light and salt well not only in the spiritual realm of the church but also in the world realm, establishing itself as a pivotal force in social reform. However, in recent years, it has been reduced to the object of criticism and ridicule to the extent that people around the world have heard the hateful term ‘church phobia’. The reason can be found in many aspects, but above all, it was found in the devotion to others like the historical Jesus and focusing on the body that is 'burned', not the body that is sacrificing 'burn'. Therefore, the purpose of this thesis is that God the Son wears a human 'body' to mingle with, eat, see, hear, smell, touch, and feel with those who were ignored and marginalized in the mainstream society at the time. The goal is to establish the kingdom of God on this earth by recovering the discipleship of Jesus, who lived as a 'perceived subject', and finally 'burned' his body on the 'cross'. To this end, this thesis does not approach the standard of traditional theology, but adopts a 'interdisciplinary' approach to find the theological contact point based on Maurice Merleau-Ponty's idea of ​​reciprocal body, well-known as a "body philosopher" from France. Therefore, I tried to explore the path more specifically until his intercorporeality was established, and a considerable amount was devoted to this part in order to avoid a superficial introduction of his thoughts. First, starting with the “decentralization of modern subjectivity,” which was the background for the emergence of “phenomenology of perception,” which is his representative work and the basis of his entire thought, “subject of perception” to clarify “intersubjectivity as intercorporeality”, “subject and other”, and “intersubjectivity” were approached. And based on this intercorporeality of Merleau-Ponty, "theological significance" was presented from various angles. And in the last “conclusive suggestion”, we looked at the theological application of the ‘burning’ body in a multi-dimensional way.
