Abstract
This study aims to identify the factors that contribute to the creativity, class engagement, and emo tional support of school arts education in Yedream Hall, thereby suggesting future improvements and directions for the development and operation of dedicated arts education spaces. This case study sys tematically analyzed data collected from 2021 to 2024, including white papers, project reports, sat isfaction survey results, and participant feedback, for "Yedream Hall," a dedicated arts education space within the "Dream Center" project promoted by the Daejeon Metropolitan Office of Education. A systematic content analysis was conducted, focusing on the annual satisfaction index and descrip tive participant feedback included in the school space innovation project outputs. Key findings revealed that Yedream Hall, a dedicated arts education space, demonstrated positive outcomes in enhancing emotional stability and engagement, promoting self-expression and collabo ration, and transforming teaching and learning methods. Furthermore, user-participatory design, re flecting the needs of individual schools, was identified as a factor in enhancing space usability and satisfaction. However, due to the limitations of specific regions and data, generalization and causal inference are limited. Therefore, future research will likely involve user surveys utilizing standardized scales, in-depth interviews, and comparisons of national and international cases. This study is sig nificant in that it establishes a foundation for linking the design, utilization, and educational effects of dedicated arts education spaces, thereby providing a foundation for designing subsequent empiri cal research.
