기독교 리더십과 선교적 교회론의 소명에 대한 연구

이 연구는 기독교 리더십과 선교적 교회의 연결점이 될 수 있는 소명에 대한 연구로부터 출발한다. 이는 기독교 리더십과 선교적 교회론은 서로 다른 두 영역이지만, 소명이라는 관점을 통해 상호 연결되며 성도를 훈련하기 위한 리더십에 새로운 방향성을 제시해 줄 것이다. 먼저 일반 리더십과 기독교 리더십이 어떻게 다른지 살펴볼 것이며 이를 바탕으로 도출된 기독교 리더십이 선교적 교회에서 교회의 본질을 다루는데 중요하게 여기는 소명에 대한 부분에 어떤 역할을 하는지 알아볼 것이다. 본 연구가 목회현장에서 선교적 교회를 지향하고자 하는 목회자들이 기독교 리더십에 기초를 둠으로, 그들이 발휘하는 리더십이 곧 선교적 리더십이 됨으로 하나님의 뜻에도 합당할 뿐 아니라 하나님 나라와 복음을 위해서 교인들을 준비(equip)시키는데 귀한 도구가 되길 바란다. 선교적 교회는 하나님께서 모든 나라를 복주시기 위해서 특정한 사람들을 택하시고, 구별하셔서 부르신 그 소명에 의해서 만들어지고 규정됨으로 교회의 정체성과 본질을 찾으려는 운동이다. 기독교 리더십은 하나님의 뜻을 이루기 위해서 소명을 받은 이들이 하나님께서 주신 능력과 책임감을 가지고 공동체의 구성원들에게 영향력을 행사하는 과정이다. 기독교 리더십과 선교적 교회를 정의할 때 그 중심에는 ‘소명(vocation)’이라는 주제가 동일하게 놓여있다. 이처럼 소명은 선교적 교회와 기독교 리더십의 가장 핵심적인 요소로 자리 잡고 있다. 곧 소명은 선교적 교회가 그 본질인 그리스도의 증인이 되도록 부름 받고 형성된 선교하는 공동체임을 잊지 않도록 해주면서 기독교 리더십영역에서는 공동체와 개인의 삶을 향한 하나님의 목적을 발견하고 성취하도록 돕는 역할을 해준다. 따라서 기독교 공동체 안에서 기독교 리더십을 발휘 한다는 것은 우리가 본연의 자아에 걸 맞는 일을 하도록 부르신다는 것을 깨닫는 것이며 우리가 하나님의 소명을 따를 때에만 진정 우리 존재에 걸 맞는 일을 하게 되는 것을 말한다. 더 나아가 그러한 기독교 공동체는 다른 모든 그리스도의 제자들과 함께 공동으로 하나님께 반응하는 공동체적 소명을 깨닫는 자리까지 연결된다. 공동체적 소명을 깨닫는 공동체는 당연히 그 공동체의 본질과 정체성을 찾게 되는 선교적 교회의 모습을 갖는다고 하겠다. 이러한 변화는 다시 선교적 공동체의 구성원 개개인에게 각자 존재에 합당한 부르심을 알게 하며, 우리에게 허락된 부르심은 이기심이 아닌 섬김이라는 것을 깨닫게 하며 타인을 위한 섬김 가운데 완전한 자유를 경험하게 되면서 기독교 리더십이라는 것이 선교적 리더십과 동일한 의미를 지닌다고 할 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
This study will look at how Christian leadership and missional church theory is interconnected with regards to vocation and calling. To this end, we will first look at how secular leadership and Christian leadership are different, and what part of the missional church’s calling is important in dealing with the essence of the church. In this way, pastors who want to pursue a missional church in the pastoral scene will demonstrate Christian leadership, appropriate to God's will, and in turn prepare the congregation for the Kingdom of His gospel. At the center of its definition, the theme of “calling” is the same. The Missional Church is a movement to find the identity and nature of a church by which God chooses certain people to bless all the nations and is created and defined by the calling to be distinguished or ‘set apart’. Christian leadership is a process in which those who are called to fulfill God's will exert influence on members of the community with the ability and responsibility God has given them. As such, the calling stands as the most important element of the missional church and Christian leadership. As such, the mission does not forget that the church is a missional community that has been called and formed to be a witness to Christ, and in Christian leadership, it serves to help discover and achieve God's purpose for the community and the individual's life. Therefore, to exercise Christian leadership within the Christian community is to realize that God calls us to work in ways that fit our true selves. It is only when we obey God's call that we truly live in accordance to His will and to the truest sense of our identities. Furthermore, said Christian community should understand its communal calling to jointly respond to God with one another. As a result, a community that realizes its communal calling should consequently become a missional church in realizing the nature and identity of the community. In addition, when each member of the missional community discovers a call worthy of his or her own existence, he or she will realize that the call allowed to us is not self-interest, but service, and experience complete freedom in serving others.
