초록

본 연구에서는 그림책을 활용한 생활지도 프로그램을 구성하여 어린이집의 만 2세반에 재원 중인 영아들을 대상으로 실시한 후 영아들의 사회정서발달에 미치는 효과를 알아보았다. 이를 위하여 본 연구에서는 서울특별시 N구에 소재하고 있는 두 어린이집에 재원 중인 만 2세반 영아 56명(실험집단 28명, 통제집단 28명)을 대상으로 2014년 4월 7일부터 6월 27일까지 연구를 실시하였다. 본 연구에서는 그림책을활용한 생활지도 프로그램의 효과를 검증하기 위하여 생활지도 프로그램을 실시하기 전․후에 담임교사를 통해 설문지를 사용한 사전․사후 검사를 실시하여 영아들의 사회정서발달에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 연구의 결과 그림책을 활용한 생활지도 프로그램은 어린이집에 다니고 있는 만 2세반 영아들의 기본정서 및 사회적 행동, 자아개념, 자기조절, 그리고 사회적 관계와 관련된 사회정서발달에 긍정적인 효과가 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다.

Abstract

This study investigated the effects of positive guidance using picture-books on 2-year-old children's social-emotional development. The positive guidance program using picture books were developed based on the elements and sub-categories suggested for teaching guidance of national curriculum and various research results about infants and toddlers in child care centers. Subjects were 56 2-year-old children; of these 28 formed the experimental group and 28 formed the control group. A detailed analysis of toddlers' social-emotional development was undertaken to determine the homogeneity of the two groups. A broad variety of positive guidance activities using 12 picture-books were carried out for the experimental group toddlers for 12-week period. The results of this study reveal that toddlers in the experimental group made significant gains in social-emotional development in the sub-categories of basic emotions and social behavior, self concept, self regulation, and social relationship while the control group did not.
