인도와 중국의 영역권, 연결성 그리고 세력권 경쟁

초록

중국이 적극적으로 해양 진출을 추구함에 따라서 인도양에서의 인도와 중국의 경쟁이치열해지고 있다. 2017년에는 또한 인도가 중국의 ‘일대일로(One belt, One road)’ 구상에대해 명확한 반대 입장을 표명하자, 중국은 인도가 추구하는 미국, 일본 그리고 호주와의전략적 협력을 중국 봉쇄정책으로 인식하면서 양국 사이에 여러 가지 경쟁의 측면들이 복잡하게전개되고 있다. 따라서 이러한 요인들이 복합적으로 얽혀진 인도와 중국의 경쟁 관계를 어떻게포괄적으로 파악할 것인가? 인도양에서의 양국의 대립은 육상 대립의 연장으로 설명할 수있을 것인가? 더 나아가 국경 문제와 해양에서 양국의 대립은 상호 독립적인 것으로 볼수 있는 것인가?

Abstract

China is aggressively seeking to enter the ocean. Therefore, Indian and Chinese competition in the Indian Ocean is intensifying. In 2017, As India expressed a clear opposition to China’s ‘One belt, One road,’ China recognized India’s cooperation with the United States, Japan and Australia as China’s containment policy, Various aspects of competition are complicated. So how do these factors comprehensively understand the complex intertwined relationship between India and China? Can the conflicts of the two countries in the Indian Ocean be explained by the continuation of conflict in the land? Furthermore, is the conflict between the two countries at the border and at sea possible to be seen as mutually independent?
