역학적 해석으로 본「가락국기」의 <구지가> —十朋을 통해 본 거북점을 중심으로—

이 연구의 목적은 ｢가락국기｣를 역학적으로 해석하며, 그에 따라 얻은 결과인 십붕의 의미를 파악하여 <구지가>를 살펴보아 <구지가>가 거북점을 치기 전에 부른 龜卜歌임을 밝히려는 것에 있다. 가장 주목할 점은 ｢가락국기｣의 ‘十朋’인데 이는 『주역』 山澤損 괘와 風雷益 괘에서 나오는 ‘十朋之龜’의 준말로 거북점을 말한다. 거북 龜 대신 ‘십붕’으로 거북을 표현한 것이 거북점을 나타내고자 하는 함의를 지니고 있다 할 수 있다. 또한 구간과 여섯 동자의 의미 등, ｢가락국기｣를 역학적으로 해석한 후 <구지가>를 보면, 1구의 거북은 거북점을 치기 전에 거북이를 부르는 것임을 알 수 있다. 그리고 首를 ‘실마리’로 보고 其를 그것(징조)으로 보면 2구의 ‘수기현야’는 ‘그것(징조)의 실마리를 나타내라’로 해석할 수 있다. 3구에서는 만약 그런 징조의 실마리를 나타내지 않으면 4구에는 거북점을 치기 위해 굽고, 살은 먹으리라 하고 노래하고 있다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to reinterpret Garakgukgi from a perspective of I Ching and, based on the results obtained, to understand the meaning of the ‘Sipbung’. By doing so, the study aims to reveal that Gujiga is a song of GwiBokga (龜卜歌), sung before performing the turtle divination. The most noteworthy point is the term Sipbung (十朋) in Garakgukgi. This term is an abbreviation for Sipbungjigwi (十朋之龜), which refers to the turtle divination found in Santekson (山澤損) and Pungnoeik (風雷益) in Zhouyi. The substitution of the word Sipbung (十朋) for turtle signifies the intention to refer to the turtle divination. Also, meaning of the nine chief and the six children, etc, after interpreting Garakgukgi through I Ching, when we look at Gujiga, we can understand that the turtle in the first line of the Gujiga represents calling the turtle before performing the turtle divination. Interpreting "Su" (首) as "clue" 'gi' (其) as 'its(omen)', the phrase "Sugihyeonya" (首其現也) in the second line can be understood as "indicate the clue of that (omen)". In the third line, it suggests that if the sign does not appear, and in the fourth line, it is sung that one will bake in order to perform the turtle divination and then eat the flesh.
