Abstract

In the subject education, textbooks are the substance of implementing the curriculum. Academia has constantly studied how textbooks are organized whenever the curriculum changes. Based on the research outcomes, this paper analyzed current textbooks to explore the direction of desirable Korean Classical Chinese Education textbooks. The composition of current textbooks usually consists of the original text, the solution to it, the grammar theorem and other words and stories. In this structure, it is thought that it is very inadequate to teach prose and the whole sentence, and that it is not easy to attract students. Thus, this study proposed focusing on small units in the direction of new textbooks, not suggesting newly learning Chinese characters, but learning the characters in the text, and making and presenting a table of basic Chinese characters for education, selecting the appropriate materials for the student's eye level, in case of long sentences, summarizing the contents back and forth to present the text so that students can see the full context of the sentence, and presenting words, idioms, sentences, and learning terms all in one unit to make effective use of limited space, etc. It is thought that there is no easy and fun way to teach Chinese characters. However, it is important to make it rough for teachers to teach Chinese characters, to make it easy for students to reach out to them, and to attract students' interest.
