시간 부사와 시제 표지의 공기에 관한 말뭉치 기반 시간 지향성 해석

이 논문은 자연어 텍스트에서 시간적 개념을 표현하는 자질로서 시간 부사와 시간 표지가 공기하였을 때, 과거 혹은 미래의 시간 범주에 속하는 경향성을 계량적으로 구하고 이를 토대로 시간 부사와 시간 표지에 의한 시간 개념 표현의 방식을 살핀다. 기존 연구의 대부분은 시상 표지와 시간 부사를 같이 두고 제약되는 양상과 시제와 상의 문법 범주 구분을 다룬다. 그러나 우리는 문법 범주로서 시제냐 상이냐의 구분이 아니라 시간 표지와 시간 부사가 같이 쓰여서 과거와 미래라는 시간 범주를 표현하는 경향과 이에 의한 사태의 시간 개념을 표현하는 방식에 관심을 두었다. 이를 위해, 말뭉치 기반의 계량적 분석 방법을 사용했다. 시간 부사와 시간 표지가 하나의 절 안에서 공기한 용례를 추출하고, 계량적 척도로서 공기 빈도와 상대 빈도를 활용하였다. 말뭉치 계량 분석을 통해 시간 표지와 시간 부사가 각각 문맥적인 시간 조건일 때 시간 부사와 시간 표지가 각각 시간적 범주를 표현하는 지향성을 구하였다. 그리고 미래성을 가진 시간 부사가 과거성을 가진 시간 표지와 같이 쓰일 때는 문맥 내 시간 개념의 형성에 어떤 역할을 하는지, 과거성을 가진 시간 부사가 미래성을 가진 시간 표지와 같이 쓰일 때는 문맥 내 시간 개념의 형성에 어떤 역할을 하는지를 살폈다. 또, 시간 표지가 시간적 개념 차이가 있는 시간 부사와 같이 쓰일 때 어떻게 시간 개념이 표현되는지 살폈다.
Abstract
This paper looks for the quantitative tendency oriented to temporal categories of past or future formed by the co-occurrence of temporal marker and time adverbs which are the features of representing temporal concept and investigates how temporal marker and time adverbs are juggled to represent temporal concept of affairs. Most previous studies deal with the constraints and tendencies of using time adverbs and temporal markers and then focus on the distinction between tense and aspect as grammatical categories. However, we do not focus on the distinction, but the tendency of temporal concept of past or future categories formed by the co-occurrence of temporal markers and time adverbs and how temporal markers and time adverbs are juggled to represent temporal concept of affairs. For this, we use quantitative analysis based on 'Sejong written pos-tagged corpus'. We extracts the concordances of which time adverbs and temporal markers are co-occurred in a clause. As for quantitative methods, we use co-occurrence frequency and relative frequency. Through corpus-based quantitative analysis, we looked for the temporal orientednesses which the time adverbs given temporal markers represent and the temporal markers given time adverbs represent respectively. Also, we investigate how future-oriented time adverb co-occurred with past-temporal marker plays a role in temporal concept of context and past-oriented time adverb co-occurred with future-temporal marker does. Furthermore, we investigate how temporal markers co-occurred with different time adverbs represent their temporal concepts in context.
