이 글은 조선왕조실록 온라인판(http://sillok.history.go.kr)에 등장하는 여진 인명에 나타난 여러 가지 오류 등을 밝히고 이에 대한 교정을 제안하기 위한 것이다. 14세기 말부터 16세기까지의 여진사 연구는 조선왕조실록의 기사를 주된 사료로 이용하고 있다(劉小萌 2001⋅2008⋅2011, 河內良弘 1992 등). 조선왕조실록이 없다면 이 시기 여진 역사를 재구성하는 것이 불가능하다고 할 수 있을 것이다. 따라서 정확한 사료의 제공을 위하여 조선왕조실록 온라인판(이하 실록) 에 나타난 오류를 꼼꼼하게 검토하고 수정하는 과정이 반드시 필요하다.이 글에서는 실록에 등장하는 여진 인명 관련 오류를 실록 분석 오류와 실록자체 오류를 나누어 살펴보았다. 인명 관련 기사가 오류인지를 파악하기 위해서다양한 자료를 참고하였으며,1) 이들은 필요에 따라 본문에서 언급하기로 한다.
Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to clarify various errors and to propose corrections to the names of Jurchen people in the Annals of the Joseon Dynasty(the online version, http://sillok.history.go.kr). Since the study of Jurchen history from the late 14th century to the 16th century uses the articles of the Joseon Dynasty Annals as the main source, it is essential to thoroughly examine and revise the errors to provide accurate data. The examples presented in this paper can be divided into the three main categories. First, they are errors that occur when the Chinese texts were marked paragraphically. Second, there are typing errors caused by the similarity between Chinese characters. Third, there are some errors in the original text itself.
